![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Managing Diabetes ClassesOn-Site Diabetes Class Diabetes is a chronic disease, which means it never goes away. When you have diabetes, you are in charge of taking care of it. The Diabetes Training Program offered by the St. Joseph Medical Center Diabetes Management Services will help provide you with the information you need to keep your diabetes under control. Our On-Site Diabetes Classes are taught in both English and Spanish at the Walnut Medical Pavilion Each class is one hour in length. After you attend all six classes you will receive a graduation certificate. Call Central Scheduling at (610) 378-2100 to register. We look forward to helping you understand and manage your diabetes.
Our Program Consists of Six Classes
Comprehensive Diabetes Class Our comprehensive Diabetes Program is recognized by the American Diabetes Association as meeting the National Standards for Diabetes Self-Management Education. Each session is two and one-half hours in length and runs for four weeks. Class size is limited to 20 participants. A friend or family member is welcome to attend with you. All classes are taught by Certified Diabetes Educators. Day and evening programs are available and are held at our satellite facilities.
