The St. Joseph Medical Center Rotating Internship emphasizes the importance of providing the best possible knowledge and skills to help you in your career future. We encourage the development of a wide breath of knowledge through different venues.

The two hospital services, Family Practice and Pediatrics will familiarize you with the most frequently encountered disease processes, their diagnoses and treatment. You will also work side by side with multiple specialists who will provide consults to our patients and are always happy to teach. The outpatient clinic will provide you with the insight of how an office works: familiarize you with preventative medicine and multiple outpatient procedures.

As our osteopathic physician you will be encouraged to continue to learn and perfect your OMT skills. As a rotating intern you will have 3 months of electives. These months will encourage you to use and plan your residency. You can go and do an onsite rotation; you can acquire additional skills in your area of interest as well. We will be happy to assist you so you can reach all of your goals and objectives.
