Pharmacy Residency Program


ABOUT THE PHARMACY RESIDENCY PROGRAM

St. Joseph Medical Center is an ASHP-accredited pharmacy residency program. Residents will develop a foundation of critical thinking skills and will display leadership and professionalism in all aspects of their practice and function as effective communicators and educators. Residents will conduct a research project to present at ASHP Midyear and at the Eastern States Conference.


APPLICATION PROCESS

Requirements:
U.S. Citizenship
Graduate of an ACPE-accredited college of pharmacy
Eligible for Pennsylvania Licensure (must be PA licensed by September 15th)
Applicants must take part in the ASHP match


ABOUT THE PHARMACY DEPARTMENT

We are a patient-focused institution guided by the integrated pharmacy practice model that offers 24 hour service. We have a USP-797 compliant clean room and utilize Pyxis® automated dispensing cabinets. Other technologies include smart pump and barcode labeling.
