Penn State Health St. Joseph Sports Medicine to Offer Talk on How Athletes Can Prepare for Hot and Humid Weather
Two members of the Penn State Health Sports Medicine team will offer a free talk on Heat Illness in Athletes on Tuesday, July 30th at 7 p.m. at Penn State Berks.
Led by sports medicine physician, Dr. Jeff Zlotnick, and certified athletic trainer JohnAnthony Rossi, the talk is open to the public and will help parents and athletes of all ages learn the signs and symptoms of heat-related illnesses and the best ways for athletes to prepare for activities when it’s hot and humid.
The talk is set for the Perkins Student Center Auditorium on the campus of Penn State Berks, 1801 Broadcasting Road.
