St. Joseph Updates Drive-Through COVID-19 Testing Hours
Penn State Health St. Joseph’s drive-through COVID-19 testing site, which is located in the parking lot just off the Red Bridge Road entrance to the Bern Township campus, will operate from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday, beginning Monday, June 1.
Testing is free and available to patients who have been evaluated by a provider and given an order for the test. Patients must present their doctor’s order, photo identification and insurance card.
COVID-19 may cause cough, fever or shortness of breath. Most individuals will have mild illness. Some people, particularly individuals over 60, those with underlying health problems and pregnant women may have more serious illness requiring hospital care. Penn State Health recommends that anyone with concerns that they may have COVID-19 call their provider or the Pennsylvania Department of Health at 1-877-PA-HEALTH, before going to a clinic, urgent care center or emergency department. You also may use Penn State Health OnDemand, our free virtual care app, to talk directly with a provider who can evaluate your symptoms and make care recommendations. Find out more here.
